Description |
Bethlehem Chapel at Washington National Cathedral. The Chapel opened in 1912. Beneath the altar is the Cathedral’s foundation stone which was set on Sept. 29, 1907. The chapel reflects a late-19th perception of Gothic architecture. The chapel contains the tomb of Bishop Henry Yates Satterlee and Admiral George Dewey. |
