Context |
These tools were given to the National Building Museum by Laura Camacho. Camacho's father was a civil engineer who served as the Water Commissioner for the City of Rockville in the 1950s; her grandfather, Bertram A. Galbraith, was the founder and owner of the Virginia Armeture Company which built large engines for the U.S. Military during WWII. These tools were inherited from this family line of tradesworkers. |
